We're seeking talented individuals to join our team on fixed-term flexible contracts to facilitate the smooth closure of Port Phillip Prison by 31 December 2025. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something impactful while gaining invaluable experience in a collaborative and supportive team environment.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary | $140,000 + Super (Negotiable on experience)Full-time consistent hours | Monday to Friday | 38 hour workweek in Western Suburbs, working on siteCommunity impact | Contribute to the well-being of the prison community promoting positive change from withinUnique Fixed Term Opportunity | A role in a unique work environmentABOUT THE ROLEAs the Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of health and wellbeing, drug and alcohol, and disability services and programs at Port Phillip Prison. In this role you will:Coordinate and monitor the delivery of contracted health services, ensuring that contracted health providers are meeting their contractual obligations, monitoring the quality of care being provided.Support and monitor the delivery of programs and services to high risk groups e.g. First Nations and Cognitive Impairment.Provide clinical governance oversight that supports the development and implementation of evidence based and best practice interventions and to ensure a collaborative and coordinated approach for people in our care with complex needs.Prepare reports and responses on incidents, risk assessments, investigations, and root cause analysis.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, through the monitoring of health trends, service demand and outcome data to identify service gaps and advocate for service enhancement.ABOUT YOUWe are seeking a professional with a strong background and experience in managing and delivering health services ideally within a complex environment.
