Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.

About the Role: The HST Superintendent will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible the overall management of the health, safety and training function of the Warrawoona Gold Project.
This role will be on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, fly in / fly out from Perth to Marble Bar.
Responsibilities: Effectively implement Calidus' HST Management System requirements throughout the organisation. Assist Calidus' General Manager in developing and planning HST Objectives and Targets and Continuous improvement initiatives. Assist General Manager in developing annual budgets and reforecasts. Facilitate training and actively coach and mentor workers on the HST Management System requirements. Maintain and regularly review all related management system documentation in line with legal requirements. Issue updates and ensure documentation is easily available to all workers, as well as provide training as and when required. Develop strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor, measure and report on Calidus and Contractor HST performance as per defined scheduled intervals to the General Manager. Prepare HST related performance information for scheduled meetings. Assist the General Manager in reviewing and recommending contractors and suppliers during the prequalification and selection processes. Facilitate pre-mobilisation and scheduled project risk reviews. Facilitate and / or participate in Calidus or Contractor incident investigations. Execute designated reporting requirements through SRS. Facilitate and / or participate in HST consultation and communication forums. Design, develop, prepare and facilitate HST training programs. Facilitate internal or external HST audits. Monitor Health and Safety compliance in line with current legislation, Codes of Practice and industry standards. About you: Diploma in WHS / OHS (or similar). Diploma in Management (or similar). Cert IV Training and Assessment. ICAM Lead investigator. Apply First Aid Lead Auditor OHS Management Systems. Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing. Skills & Abilities: Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role. Emergency response management experience or equivalent (desirable). Shortlisting for this role will commence immediately.
