Health Merchant Payment Specialist Sydney Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Sydney, Australia Your Business Business Payment Solutions (BPS) supports the Transaction Banking needs of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's Business Banking customers. Your Team The Health Centre of Excellence plays a critical role in ensuring the financial wellbeing of business customers within the Health Industry. The Health team are responsible for the entire lifecycle of customers who require our Comm Bank Smart Health product offering including: Sales Integration and Aftercare Maintenance Technical Support Reporting to the Senior Manager Transaction Banking, the role represents Comm Bank Health and our 'Pay and Get Paid' product ecosystem in the national market. Your Impact & Contribution As a Health Merchant Payment Specialist, you will be a brand ambassador for Comm Bank Health and will help find opportunities for Comm Bank to help Australian businesses grow. You'll use insights and deep Comm Bank product knowledge to educate and support merchants, understanding how our ecosystem of products can fit different types of businesses. You will work with Comm Bank Health merchants of all sizes, from small to large businesses. Our team are based in Sydney only (South Eveleigh), but we do support workplace flexibility with options to work from home after you have completed training and initial probation. Responsibilities Connect with customers by phone and email, quickly establishing trust and building value. Prioritise your pipeline daily for maximum efficiency. Understand complex requirements and help create custom solutions. Maintain current knowledge of the Comm Bank product ecosystem and how this may help customers to further grow their businesses. Create a great first impression for prospective Comm Bank merchants by using storytelling, case studies and other materials to inspire them about how Comm Bank could benefit their businesses. Represent Comm Bank Health and our 'Pay and Get Paid' product ecosystem in the national market. Develop commercially sound business cases across a wide variety of use-cases as well as target industries. Keep up-to-date with the latest business, industry and product trends. Maintain current understanding of sales processes. Maintain accurate sales and service data and documentation using business tools. What we are looking for Essential: Previous customer service experience and exceptional customer service skills. Desirable: Finance experience or an interest in banking. Desirable: Previous sales or technical helpdesk experience. Essential: Someone who thrives in a busy environment. Essential: The ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Essential: The ability to master different technologies and multitask. Essential: The ability to handle customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Roster Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. To be there for them every step of the way we'll need you to commit to a rotating roster which operates between the hours of: Monday - Friday. 8:00am - 8:00pm. Initial 5 weeks classroom training in South Eveleigh. 3 month period working from office. Options to work from home after 3 months provided all performance expectations are met. Where will you go?
