The data will come from many sources including national, state, and local agencies, contractors and general practice including workforce and aggregated clinical data. This is a key role within our organisation, supporting all Portfolios as well as the Executive Team and our Board. The position also supports the strategic objectives of the PHN by supporting General Practitioners, Commissioned service providers and other clinicians to improve the quality of their practice and therefore the quality of healthcare for our communities.The successful candidate will have:Tertiary qualifications in statistics, epidemiology, public health, health data science, health information or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in statistical analysis and health data interpretationDemonstrated skills in data modelling and analysis using SQL, DAX, VBA or similar programming experienceDemonstrated skills in the use of data visualisation tools (such as Power BI, Crystal and Qlik) and in querying and creating complex views in relational databasesDemonstrated understanding of UX/UI PrinciplesDemonstrated understanding of privacy and health/personal information legislation, policies and standards.Demonstrated understanding of databases, data structures and data maintenanceHow to apply:Please address the selection criteria in your cover letter.
