The Opportunity The Head of Technology will play an increasingly pivotal role by leveraging the existing solid foundations to shape Electra Net's technology strategy and driving innovation in support of our strategic intent. Technology is funded and resourced with a strong organisational appetite for step changes to be achieved over the next four years. The role is responsible for developing and implementing a clear strategic direction and technology roadmap aligned to our strategic intent, incorporating contemporary technology practices to ensure the effective delivery of fit-for-purpose technology solutions, increased technology maturity across the business and continuous evolution of Electra Net's technology function; including systems architecture, software development, network infrastructure and data security, to support integrity and business continuity. As an engaging and influential leader by providing thought leadership, this role promotes a strong organisational culture by providing conceptual leadership, advocating across the business, readying the business to embrace, drive and manage change within technology services, supporting an uplift in capability across both digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence. Success in this role is characterised by impactful and influential functional leadership through effective stakeholder engagement, clear strategic, commercial and operational thinking within the broader Electra Net context, an ability to build, maintain and leverage relationships across stakeholder groups to ensure simplicity, consistency and efficiency in technology delivery to ensure successful delivery of Electra Net's business goals and objectives. About You To be successful in this critical role, you will possess the following: Extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role, in a complex corporate and Operational Technology environment Forward thinking approach to technology with significant functional knowledge and delivery experience Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate technology trends into business opportunities Experience in driving a performance culture within a technology function to deliver positive business enablement and impact Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills Tertiary degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience at a senior leadership level How To Apply Please apply online via our careers page before Sunday 1 December 2024.
