We are seeking a dynamic Head of TA Operations to join our APAC Operations team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of cutting-edge Transfer Agency (TA) solutions and drive business growth. In this role, you will manage the functional area and its associated operations team, and will be accountable for the day to day operation and overall service of your team to our clients and their underlying investors on behalf of FNZ.
With several recent and upcoming business wins, this function is set for significant growth, and we are seeking an individual who can rapidly establish and expand the team. Growth will involve not only attracting talented individuals but also enhancing the function's capability to operate in markets such as Australia and New Zealand, making a growth mindset essential for the successful candidate.
To excel in this role, you'll bring a deep understanding of the local and regional market and regulatory environment, complemented by strong project management expertise. Your ability to take a strategic, holistic view when managing projects will ensure all considerations are addressed effectively. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage transparently with internal and external stakeholders are essential. Experience in onboarding clients, detailing processes, and building positive client relationships will be a distinct advantage in this role.
Responsibilities: Shape Strategy: Support the Head of TA Services to develop and execute a market-leading strategy for TA Services across multiple countries in the wider APAC region, including opportunities to establish operations in entirely new markets. Lead Solutions: Own the solution design for TA Services, driving the use of FNZ technology to deliver innovative and compliant solutions that meet client needs. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, leading workshops, supporting the sales process, and onboarding new business opportunities. Operational Excellence: Oversee the delivery of TA service solutions, ensuring seamless integration with operational teams and robust documentation of processes, SLAs, and KPIs, whilst remaining within FNZ's defined risk appetite. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing TA Operations team in APAC, including succession planning and fostering a culture of excellence. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal standards. What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 10 years of operations experience within the Transfer Agency industry. Good proposition knowledge of Transfer Agency industry, from Retail Client to Institutional investor servicing. Significant experience in an operations management role. Experience in client relationship management. Extensive technical operational knowledge covering the functions under role holders' remit. Extensive change and project management experience. Strong understanding of risk/compliance policies and processes for a financial services business. Extensive Knowledge of the Malaysian financial services including regulatory and knowledge of other region such as Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.
