St Patrick's College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Head of School – Croagh Patrick. This is a remarkable opportunity to lead our Croagh Patrick Campus, a unique and purpose-built Year 9 learning environment designed to meet the specific developmental needs of adolescents.
The Croagh Patrick Campus focuses on fostering independence, resilience, and leadership in a smaller, supportive setting adjacent to the main College campus. With a strong emphasis on pastoral care and wellbeing, Croagh Patrick provides a tailored educational experience that supports the transition to adulthood. Programs like The Rite Journey guide students along their path of personal growth, while an engaging and relevant curriculum, outdoor education experiences, and targeted wellbeing initiatives help cultivate a strong sense of belonging and community.
As the Head of School – Croagh Patrick, you will oversee the Year 9 program and the overall operation of the campus, ensuring alignment with the mission of St Patrick's College. You will lead the development of academic and pastoral programs, providing a holistic and enriching educational experience for all students.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
About YouAs an experienced educational leader with a passion for Catholic education, you will possess:
Proven leadership experience supporting adolescent learners' developmental needs.The ability to lead and inspire a small, supportive Year 9 environment focused on pastoral care, wellbeing, and personal growth.Experience in managing innovative programs like The Rite Journey to support students' transition to adulthood.Expertise in fostering independence, resilience, leadership, and belonging among students.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage students, staff, and the community.Ability to develop and oversee a tailored curriculum aligned with the College's mission.A collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring staff and creating an inclusive school culture.A passion for providing a supportive, engaging, and holistic educational experience.An understanding of the mission and ethos of St Patrick's College as a Catholic school community.CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe environment. The successful candidate will require satisfactory child safety registrations.
