About the role
As the Head of Sales- Tasmania , you will develop strategies, inclusive of resourcing plans, customer and business development plans to deepen relationships and acquire share of wallet growth.
You will develop and implement strategic plans to manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The core focus includes protecting existing revenue streams, minimising disputes and credit notes, and reducing regrettable customer churn.
You will work closely with your team and clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and ensure that TGE's services are aligned with the customers' objectives.
You will harness their capability through active coaching plans with your team.
The key to your success will be your passion and knowledge of the Tasmania logistics sector and core market verticals.
You will be well connected at the Executive level, leveraging relationships to engage strategically.
You will have a capacity to meet businesses financial objectives including revenue targets, desired profitability levels and revenue quality.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives Manage customer coverage model in order to optimise customer service and maintain appropriate customer contact levels across the team portfolio Review portfolio plans with team members incorporating quarterly business plans presented to head of sales Engaging and leading C suite discussions Executive sponsorship across top 20 customers Driving sustainable growth by seeking expansion of current services and/or identification of cross-sell solutions from incremental BUs Reviewing key customer(s) strategic imperatives and where/how TGE can unlock and position for new business development opportunities Leading the design process, layout costing and preparation of proposals to customers Coach and mentor other members of the team to develop their skills and encourage a one team culture About you
