Full timeKey Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for managing and overseeing the total ripening function at the Freshmax Marsden Park facility.Responsible for managing and overseeing all key customer relationships that sit within the ripening function at the Marsden Park facility, with a key focus on all 3rd party customer relationships.Responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships that sit within the ripening function at the Marsden Park site.Oversee, manage and report on all inventory (stock, equipment and consumables) utilizing best practice methods to minimize loss.Ensure all relevant Food Safety management systems and accreditations are applied and maintained at all times.Ensure that the Marsden Park site is conducting warehouse operations in accordance with SOPs and performance targets set out by the business.Ensure company policies, procedures and systems are followed at all times across each site.Ensure appropriate internal and external communication is always maintained.Ensure systems, processes and reporting regimes are in place to keep management updated.Perform all other tasks/actions as directed by the company consistent with this document.Manage, develop and oversee WMS systems processes utilizing best practice methods.Liaise with external parties to ensure end-to-end service delivery including transport unloaders, fumigators, and irradiation treatment specialists.To be successful in this role, you will need:Proven leadership experience in Operations, warehousing, Logistics, within the FMCG industry.Well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate others and create a team environment.Ability to manage work autonomously.Extensive knowledge and experience in ripening and conditioning of produce to service retail supply expectations.Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.A passion and desire to be immersed in the premium food industry.Proven track record of being able to work under pressure, solve problems creatively, and meet deadlines.
