Head of Product - Everyday Banking, Payments & Digital Banking
The Head of Product will lead our Deposits, Payments, and Digital Banking Product suite and teams. Leveraging your expertise, you will build and deliver our Product Strategy, driving end-to-end accountability and strategic direction.
Working with our digital partner you will develop and deliver a comprehensive digital banking roadmap using the latest technologies and implement new ways of working. With ambitious growth targets over the next few years, join a leadership team with a clear growth strategy in this critical role.
You will work closely with teams across Customer and Marketing, Portfolio, Performance & Pricing, Transformation, Contact Centre, First Line Risk and Compliance, and Retail Network and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Proposition Development: Drive growth and innovation through strategic product initiatives for Everyday Banking, Digital Banking & Payments Products.Product Management: End to end accountability to drive the performance of the Deposits product suite for both product profitability and customer outcomes.Digital Banking Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and deliver a comprehensive digital banking roadmap using the latest technologies and implement new ways of working.Customer Journey Design: Transform operational processes to enhance customer experience across channels and products.Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing team to achieve excellence and foster innovation.Payments & Vendor Management: Oversee all payment channels and manage vendor relationships.Market & Competitor Insights: Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform product, payments, and digital strategies.Product Collateral Management: Ensure effective management of product collateral and vendor partnerships.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Extensive experience in Product Leadership roles particularly within the banking or financial services industry.Demonstrated experience leading, growing and developing high-performing teams.Strong background in digital banking, including the development and implementation of digital banking platforms and strategies.Understanding of Payments and Vendor Management.Proven ability to develop and execute product and payment strategies that drive growth and innovation.Experience in designing and optimising customer journeys and enhancing customer experience.Experience with agile ways of working.
