Riparide is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to develop, implement and lead our marketing strategy. Your experience should be centered around digital marketing, brand building, and growing marketing teams. A pragmatic and creative leader who understands the science and art of marketing, loves to collaborate, get your hand on-the-tools, and has an ambitious drive for results.
Marketing has been core to Riparide's story and success in the Australian market, we have built an incredible brand and product. Riparide exists to inspire people to unplug from modern-day trappings and head outdoors in search of fulfilling moments. We're looking for a Head of Marketing who can amplify our story, manage and optimise our marketing efforts, and own our go-to-market Marketing strategies.
What you get to do every day Responsible for Riparide's marketing strategy Management of the Marketing department Prepare social media marketing campaigns and strategise them such that they align with the business objectives Own Riparide's market positioning and marketing messages Manage marketing strategies in early and mature existing markets Development and execution of Go-To-Market strategies, expansion campaigns and launch efforts in new markets Create and monitor advertisements on Instagram, Facebook, Google, and various platforms keeping the business vision aligned Drive email marketing automation strategy Be across the forefront of marketing trends, ad surfaces and technologies Run personalisation campaigns based on product usage Own our social content and influence strategies Brand building and creative direction Work closely with Content & Design to enable new innovative campaigns Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features) Develop an understanding of the customer, their needs and interactions Prepare monthly marketing budget Innovate on creative ways of reaching and engaging our customer community and expand market share Create weekly and monthly reports What you bring to the role Work experience as Head of Marketing or VP Marketing, preferably within our industry 4+ years of experience in demand generation/digital marketing/content marketing Solid knowledge of web analytics, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Adwords Strong background in strategising for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Experience building a digital marketing team Active on the tools, and a self-starter An eye for design, high-quality content and an on-brand aesthetic Experience working tightly with adjacent functions Understand demand generation metrics and best practices for reporting accuracy Proficiency with email, social, content, and ad marketing automation systems Goal-driven mentality with strong written and oral communication abilities An adventurous spirit and passion for the outdoors Search engine marketing (SEM) experience What you can expect Competitive salary and employee stock options Flexible, remote-friendly working conditions Quarterly team escapes to get out of the office and into nature Riparide vouchers to book your own escapes plus bonus friends and family vouchers A genuine commitment to your wellbeing and fulfilment at work Career development opportunities as we scale Riparide is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, colour, religion, creed, age, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, military or veteran status, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
