Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications)Role: Head of Marketing - B2C GrowthReports to: CEOAbout the CompanyThis is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to join a cutting-edge fintech start-up based in Brisbane's CBD.
As the Head of Marketing for B2C side (i.e., the target investor audience) growth, you will play a pivotal role in propelling the company toward its ambitious goal of becoming Australia's dominant investment product comparison site.
Your primary focus and responsibility will be to drive significant growth on the B2C side of the platform by increasing investor traffic, generating leads, and expanding the subscriber base—all of which are crucial for driving revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies focused on driving investor growth and enquiries through digital content and event-based marketing.Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, effectively communicating the company's brand and value proposition.Lead, coach, and develop a small, high-performing team of marketing specialists.Cultivate strong relationships with agencies to create and execute effective campaigns, content, and creative assets.Oversee and optimise paid media campaigns, balancing cost management with ROI improvements.Drive on-site and off-site SEO efforts to boost organic traffic quality and conversion rates.Refine email marketing and automation strategies to enhance engagement and drive investor enquiries.Collaborate with the events manager to maximize registrations and attendance at investor events.Creative & ContentLead the development of creative assets and content that resonate with the target audience.Work closely with the content team to produce engaging articles, innovative formats, and impactful digital experiences.Platform UX & DevelopmentManage the end-to-end development of platform improvements to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, drive traffic and streamline customer journeys.Leverage user analytics tools to monitor and improve platform performance.Insights & AnalysisRegularly report on marketing performance, providing actionable insights to guide executive decision-making.Conduct research to understand investor experiences, informing future marketing strategies.Ideal Candidate Profile:Growth Hacker and Innovator:

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams.Skills & Experience:A tertiary degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital channels.3+ years of experience managing in-house marketing teams.Mastery of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, paid social, eDM, CRO, and automation.Demonstrable experience managing a roadmap of website improvements and digital projects.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Strong numerical proficiency and working knowledge of Google Analytics and web tracking technologies.Previous experience in the financial services sector or working knowledge of investment products is advantageous.Experience within a B2C/B2B marketplace is advantageous.Proficiency in design and UI/UX tools (including Adobe, Figma, and Canva) is advantageous.The locationIMs office is in the Brisbane CBD.
You are required to work in the office Monday - Friday but with some flexibility for the appropriate candidate.The position is to start immediately.RemunerationA salary commensurate with experience will be offered.
