The Opportunity As Head of Health and Physical Education , you will lead a dynamic team in promoting wellbeing , fitness , and holistic health across the Senior School. You will: Lead the development and implementation of innovative, excellence-driven health and physical education programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and WACE . Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the Protective Behaviours Curriculum , ensuring alignment with student wellbeing goals. Collaborate with the Senior School Sports Co-ordinator to manage sports carnivals , interschool events , and other sports competitions . Promote wellbeing and health initiatives , including physical fitness programs and mental health awareness. Foster resilience-building strategies and holistic health education across the College. Play an active role in the Academic Leadership Team and Senior School's Academic Council , ensuring alignment with the College's Curriculum Plan . Why Join Tranby College? What We're Looking For We are seeking an exceptional leader who: Holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field with a graduate qualification in Education or a Bachelor of Education with a relevant major. Has current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) . Has proven leadership experience in an independent school setting, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in student outcomes . Has strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy , curriculum development , and physical education strategies . Demonstrates the ability to lead a team in the effective use of data and emerging technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Has excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence , respect , and service . Teaching Load : 0.8 FTE 5-year fixed-term appointment , with a one-year probation and potential for renewal.
