They have built their business through commitment to the quality of their product, the development of their people, and by providing a delightful experience to all customers.The OpportunityAre you ready to lead growth in a thriving franchise business? We're looking for an inspiring and strategic Head of Franchise Development to drive growth by bringing in new franchisees and developing the existing network. This role offers a unique blend of leadership, strategy, and hands-on business development for growth opportunities across Australia.The roleLead and coach a high-performing team responsible for facilitating the franchisee recruitment and the bakery sale processes.Develop and execute a strategy to attract high-quality franchisees; build a strong lead pipeline of external franchisees ready to open new bakeries and aspirations of building a portfolio of multiple bakeries.Work alongside finance and operations to identify and develop existing franchisees into multi-site operators capable of building a portfolio of bakeries - including new sites.Support the wider businesses strategic growth plans by bringing fresh ideas to drive network expansion as well as improve efficiency to our current processes.Build relationships with senior leaders, franchisees, and potential buyers. Act as the key liaison with the company's in-house counsel and external lawyers ensuring due legal process and compliance is adhered to at all times during the recruitment and bakery sale/changeover processes.About youA confident, inspiring people leader with the gravitas to engage at all levels.A spark for business development with the ability to sell opportunities and build strong pipelines of qualified leads.Experience in the Franchising industry would be highly regarded.A persuasive communicator with strengths in relationship management, consultation, influencing, and negotiation skills.Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver growth strategies.Demonstrated ability to oversee the work of others, organise and prioritise demands, handling multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.Why Bakers Delight?Bakers Delight is an iconic Australian success story with a global presence.
