The role As the Head of Forest Regeneration, you will, under the direction of the Group Technical Officer, provide strategic oversight and leadership for the delivery of Forest Regeneration projects, predominantly under the ACCU scheme's Human Induced Regeneration method.
Reporting to the Group Technical Officer, you will oversee project design, modelling, compliance, and administration, ensuring alignment with environmental, social, financial, and commercial goals.
In this role, you will mentor a small multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
You will manage workloads, set priorities, and guide the professional development of your team while providing solutions to complex project challenges.
Your leadership will ensure the successful delivery of regeneration projects, meeting the highest standards and complying with Clean Energy Regulator methodologies and other relevant standards.
This includes managing technical design, modelling, monitoring, verification (M&V), and reporting requirements.
You will play a key role in supporting the Group Technical Officer in strategic planning, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring project delivery aligns with organisational goals and evolving market demands.
Your ability to maintain strong relationships with regulators, clients, and stakeholders will ensure accurate and timely reporting, strengthening Corporate Carbon's reputation as a leader in the sector.
The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, the Clean Energy Regulator, and other external bodies.
Representing the organisation in compliance discussions and community consultations, you will advocate for Corporate Carbon's interests while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Additionally, you will lead and coordinate site visits for monitoring, audits, and stakeholder engagement, addressing site-specific challenges and ensuring all objectives are met.
