Head of Finance | Growing SME | Privately Owned BusinessFull timeThe RoleAs Head of Finance, you will play an integral part in shaping the strategic direction and performance of the organisation whilst building and leading an end to end finance function for this growing critical logistics and services company with offices across ANZ.Reporting directly to the Founder, your role will be a broad one requiring you to be 'hands on' and in the detail, but also a strong commercial business partner to the leadership team. You will be principally responsible for leading the accounting function and for ensuring effective controls and accurate reporting to support commercial decision-making.Your key responsibilities include:Monthly and annual financial reporting (including risks, opportunities and financial commentary) for the organisationDeveloping financial models to support business activities and initiativesLead, mentor and build the finance departmentOngoing oversight and improvement of financial controls, systems and processesEnsuring compliance with statutory and tax obligationsProvide high level advice and assistance to the Founder and leadership team on all financial issuesHybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFHThe CandidateA roll up the sleeves ethosExtensive experience as a hands-on Financial Controller / Head of Finance in a small to medium sized privately owned businessesExperience in logistics and servicesExperienced in XeroExposure to founder led organisations will be viewed favourablyThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a collaborative, pragmatic and growing private business.
