We are looking for an experienced leader to join an ASX listed company, to grow and develop their dynamic team further. Established in the market, they are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead their engineering team. You may be a current Engineering Manager, or this is a rare opportunity for an experienced Principal or Engineering Lead to step into a Manager role.
You will be responsible for their product, technology, future roadmap and leadership of their growing team. You will be enthusiastic about all things technology, with AI and Computer Vision a very keen interest of yours.
You will enjoy remaining hands-on in this role, with a mix of AI, Machine Learning and Computer Vision, together with supporting a mixture of legacy tech including C++, C# and Java. This is an exciting time for the team as they are forming their future platform and looking for this role to play a pivotal part.
The team is based centrally in Perth's CBD and holds a great work culture. You will be offered a permanent role, with a salary of $160,000 - $180,000 + super depending on experience, with some flexibility to work hybrid model!
Your Profile Your professional profile will consist of the following:
Solid leadership experience, successfully leading a team of 5-20+ engineers, responsible for the hiring, day-to-day management and mentoring of the team. Highly passionate about AI, with a very clear ongoing desire for self-improvement and keeping up with the industry changes and trends in Machine Learning, AI and Computer Vision. Hands-on experience with C++, C# and/or Java. A great communicator, someone who can explain technical concepts to other non-technical colleagues within the organisation.
