About the Role
Are you ready to lead the future of employment and workplace relations in one of Australia's leading energy companies?
As the Head of Employment and Workplace Relations at Santos, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company's employee relations strategies across all onshore, offshore, and corporate functions.

Key accountabilities include:
Leading the development of best-in-class strategic workplace relations practices across Santos' operating divisions Spearheading enterprise bargaining strategies and managing workplace relations litigation Serving as the go-to expert on employment legal and regulatory compliance, advising the Board and Executive Leadership Team on all aspects of workplace relations compliance and risk Collaborating across the organization to integrate workplace relations systems, especially for acquired businesses Driving strategic employee relations for major capital projects and the ongoing provision of third-party services This is a business-critical role in which you will work closely with the People & Culture team and other key stakeholders to support the corporate strategy and ensure the seamless delivery of workplace relations processes.
About You
You are an accomplished leader with substantial experience in workplace relations, ready to bring your strategic insight and strong executive presence to the table.
You have a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and can influence decision-making at the highest levels.

Key competencies and qualifications include:
Significant senior experience in workplace relations disciplines Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build relationships at a high level Expertise in strategic change and employee relations with a focus on results and compliance A degree in Law, Business, or Human Resources, with postgraduate qualifications in workplace relations or related fields being highly desirable Prior experience in the oil and gas or resources industries is highly desirable This role requires a dynamic professional with the ability to navigate complex challenges and lead a high-performing team.
