250-300k + Super + STI + LTI Must reside in Sydney or Melbourne Join a Renewable Energy Developer & Specialist Global Investor The opportunity This is truly an exciting opportunity for an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded, hands-on, leader to join a small, newly created and extremely well-funded developer.
You will join a key portfolio company within a listed global investor in the energy storage sector that is dedicated to building, owning and operating large-scale batteries.
Their current Australian portfolio comprises numerous battery energy storage projects and solar PV farms, with a total capacity of almost 2GW (when all are completed).
The value add You will have a higher risk appetite compared to other developers.
Being small and nimble you will move at pace and don't have the red tape of big organisations.
The role The Head of Development will be responsible for leading the development team, streamlining the development process and working with the board to continue building a pipeline of projects in Australia.
The ideal candidate Leadership skills and experience Entrepreneurial and hands-on  End-to-end renewable energy project development experience in Australia.
(land lease, development approvals, grid connection)  Some BESS project development experience is required.
