To support this journey, we are seeking a consummate hospitality professional to oversee the floor of our wholefood organic restaurant and bar. This individual will embody the pinnacle of luxury service, ensuring each moment of the dining experience is flawlessly executed and that every guest feels our commitment to unparalleled elegance and exclusivity.THE POSITIONAs the Head Chef of our Organic Wholefoods Restaurant at SAINT HAVEN Black, you'll be supporting and directing our kitchen and front of house team to ensure the restaurant operations run smoothly. You will thrive working in a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team.We strive for our dining experience to be a defining element of Saint Haven Black – an unforgettable journey in luxury and taste.We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, wholefood, nutrient dense cuisine. You will be at the forefront of this delivery, designing menus and specials with clear positive health outcomes in mind.Our restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch service 7-days per week with take home meal options and catering available.This leadership position demands strong people management skills, extensive experience in high-end hospitality, and an unwavering dedication to delivering memorable experiences.We are seeking a refined, strategic, and service-driven leader who embodies Saint Haven's ethos of exclusivity and excellence, ensuring that every guest interaction is a testament to our brand's prestige.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring consistent food standards of presentation, taste, and service speed.Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in line with government requirements.Keeping track of Cost of goods and staffing spends to ensure the business is profitable.Assisting the executive chef in events, dinners, and creating memorable moments for our members.Writing and developing new menus in line with our ethos.Maintaining a healthy and cooperative relationship between the kitchen and front of house teams.Fostering an inclusive, safe environment for constant 360-degree feedback, team development, and collaboration.ATTRIBUTES, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years' experience in a managerial role as a head chef or sous chef.Highly organised, a good communicator, and have a hands-on approach.Customer focused and enjoy speaking with people and working in a team environment.Have a love of organic, nutrient dense wholefoods and the delivery of 5-star hotel-like hospitality experience.Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently with a positive and pro-active approach.Capable of delegating multiple tasks and working under pressure at times.EMPLOYEE BENEFITSAccess to Saint Haven recovery and anti-aging treatments.Special team member prices at Haven Organic Wholefoods restaurant and all other GURNER Group hospitality venues.Access to an Employee Assistance Program.TO APPLYIf you are obsessed with human connection, dedicated to excellence in everything you do, love the thought of creating magical moments for our members, and are genuinely interested in health and wellbeing, we'd love to hear from you!
