Food is an important part of anyone's day and plays a vital role in our community. Meal times engage all five senses and provide an important social opportunity for our residents.
Reporting to our Resident Services Manager, our new Head Chef will be an integral part of our Food Service transformation and we are looking for someone who is passionate about good wholesome food and enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen.
Our perfect Head Chef would possess: Ability to work with our talented team of Cooks & Food Services Assistants with family-friendly hours predominantly Monday to Friday Ability to think outside of the box and help develop and deliver a new and exciting Dining Experience for residents Ability to build a great rapport with the seniors of our community Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Hospitality Management experience and the ability to lead and inspire a team with the Resident Services Manager Experience in Aged Care industry (desired but not essential) Other information Join a Leading Aged Care Not-For-Profit Organisation Competitive hourly rate Family friendly hours, no late nights and mostly Monday-Friday hours Generous Salary packaging - up to $30,000 to increase take home pay 11.5% Superannuation All staff employed by Benevolent Living are required to undergo pre-employment screening that includes a current Police Record check.
