As Group Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for the identification, design and execution of key Sustainability objectives for the Group (Frasers Property Limited, i.e.
'FPL').
Supporting business leadership, you will ensure sustainability is embedded across the organization's activities and collaborate with key influencers and decision-makers as needed.
In this critical role, you will drive a consistent approach to align the Group's sustainability objectives with its processes and activities, building essential sustainability capabilities within Directors, Senior Leaders, and other key internal stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to choose your preferred location, so can be based from either NSW, VIC or QLD or also from our offices in Singapore.
Our working culture offers a hybrid working style with a mix of work from home and office based activity.
As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities include:
Provide sustainability expertise to support the Group's Sustainability Strategy Identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities for the organization Develop and implement an ESG strategy aligned with organizational goals Collaborate with strategy and risk teams to guide investment decisions on ESG impacts and opportunities Develop and review corporate ESG policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards Publish ESG reports aligned with international standards (e.g., GRI, TCFD) for the Group and sponsored REITs.
Oversee ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure accuracy.
Lead external assurance processes for data integrity in ESG disclosures and GRESB submissions.
Drive ESG initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Track emerging ESG trends and advise senior leadership on best practices.
Support the Group Sustainability Team in achieving their objectives.
Engage with external stakeholders to enhance reputation and promote sustainability.
Develop employee engagement programs, including annual Environment and Health & Safety Months.
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
Relevant University degree and relevant real estate industry certifications/qualifications in ESG Demonstrated experience in a management role within ESG.
Property highly regarded but not essential Knowledge of ESG compliance requirements, standards, and emerging issues in the built environment Strong industry networks with key stakeholders (e.g., government, JV partners, academia).
In-depth understanding and experience in delivering ESG initiatives ESG report writing and publication aligning to international standards and frameworks ESG data management platforms and analytical tools.
Preparing and executing corporate ESG strategies, business cases, feasibility studies, etc.
Understanding of sustainability's financial impacts on investments and new business opportunities Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and voluntary ESG requirements across multiple geographies Don't quite meet every single requirement but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
