Group Strategy Director (Also known as Group Strategy/Planning Directoror Group Communications Planner/Director) Trading Under Publicis Media Australia Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane The GroupStrategy Director, alongside the Head of Strategy leads a team of strategistsand is responsible for driving the strategic direction on behalf of a portfolioof clients or client. They are responsible for ensuring work meets the higheststandards, locally and competitively within our global network.
Demonstrateleadership, commercial acumen and vision and inspire their team to delivera cohesive, proactive approach to strategy which helps our clients grow.Worksclosely with the client teams and the senior leadership team to ensurethat the product delivered to clients is truly integrated and best inclass.Responsiblefor increasing the visibility of the Spark strategic product.Accountablefor financial performance, inclusive of revenue, client commercialagreements and team costs, encompassing long term planning for the team,reflective of client and team development needs.Actsas a senior client escalation point, and trusted strategic advisor for keyclients.Workswith the relevant Strategy Directors/ Account Directors/ Client Partnersto guide them on the output of work that works for their clients and theoptimal use of agency resource to achieve this.Developsand manages the Strategy Directors and broader agency teamWorkswith the Head of Strategy to define and deliver projects that enhance theoutput and efficiency of the team including managing resource in line withthe ebb and flow of client work.Recommendand recruit for new/ replacement roles to fit any changes to the clientportfolioTrackhead hour utilisation or the ream against the agreed remuneration forindividual clients and agency projectsActingas a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholdersExperience required: Minimum 12 years industry experience, most recentlyin a similar position. Proven business acumen in medium to large agency.Possess an expert understanding of consumer psychology, behavioural economics,macro-economic influences, trends and current marketing science thinkingand an exceptional ability to make this actionable.Salary – over threshold so no need to advertise Allof the above roles require a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimumof 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification.Rolecould also be available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane#LI-DNI
