We make every day count.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the national quality assurance team to ensure that all food safety and quality standards are consistently met and aligned with best practices across production, processing, packing, and supply chain functions. This role is pivotal in upholding and strengthening Redland's reputation for delivering premium quality fruit to the market. The role will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge technologies and data management systems that enhance Redland's Quality Assurance Framework, providing comprehensive oversight across all quality processes, controls, and standards.In this highly collaborative role, the successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders nationwide, including third-party growers, to promote a consistent and rigorous approach to quality. Focus will include achieving compliance with various regulatory standards and audit requirements (such as Global Gap, SEDEX, and others), conducting root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement, and managing quality-related data and reporting for informed decision-making. Additionally, the role will play a key role in managing customer complaint investigations, ensuring that Redland's quality response is timely, thorough, and aligned with our high standards.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing, horticulture, or FMCG sectors, ideally with a focus on fruit or perishable products. Success requires strong commercial acumen and demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic influencing skills, enabling the Group Manager Quality Assurance to balance Redland's quality objectives with broader business goals. With a keen eye for process optimisation and a solid understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements, the Group Manager will be instrumental in supporting Redland to be Australia's premier producer of quality fruit.
