About the Role:
We are seeking a Group Company Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our CFO.
This is an opportunity to work across an exciting portfolio, providing key financial insights and supporting impactful projects across our Corporate Group.

The Role:
Provide strategic financial guidance to key stakeholders, enabling effective decision-making across the organisation.
Oversee management accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Develop and deliver advanced financial models, analyses, and insights to drive data-informed decisions.
Lead initiatives to enhance budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes, supporting continuous improvement.
Manage corporate group journals and ensure accurate monthly group consolidation for reliable financial reporting.
Deliver expert financial analytics that provide a comprehensive view of the Group's performance.
Own the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Assist the CFO in preparing and presenting monthly board packs, translating financial data into actionable insights.
Support change management, process enhancements, and system upgrades to improve financial operations.
Ensure accurate and timely project costing and reporting, leveraging Power BI to create insightful visualisations.
About You:
Professional accounting qualifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
Advanced Excel Skills: You should be highly proficient in Excel, with expertise in advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modelling.
Proficiency and familiarity using Power BI.
Demonstrated understanding of budgeting and management reporting practices.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to make strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Prior experience in the manufacturing industry and stock management is highly desirable.
We are a national company with offices across Australia, and occasional short-term travel may be required at various locations.
