**Position Information**:
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.

**About the Role**

To be successful in the role you will need to have strong planning and prioritising skills and good communication skills to enable you to work effectively with others. Within this role, you will work independently and within a team environment.

You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of the school grounds, specialist sporting areas and Departmental equipment such as lawnmowers and watering systems. You will identify and report maintenance and safety issues. Other related duties of the role, within the skills and competencies of the Groundsman as directed by the Principal or Delegated Officer.
