Are you passionate about creating impactful designs and bringing creative concepts to life? Southport Sharks is looking for a Part-time Graphic Designer 3-4 days a week to help us communicate our vision through engaging artwork across digital and physical media.
As our Graphic Designer , you'll be a key player in developing and executing creative assets across all Southport Sharks brands. From creating in-house collateral to updating our website with fresh visual content, your work will reach patrons, stakeholders, and the public. You'll take ideas from concept to activation, working closely with our Marketing team and other departments to deliver eye-catching visuals for print, social media, and events.
What You'll Do Design and produce compelling visuals using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other software. Collaborate with the Marketing team on creative for planned promotions, activations, and campaigns. Ensure brand consistency across all channels by creating designs that align with our visual identity. Liaise with suppliers for printing and signage quotes and manage design deadlines within budget. Attend and support special events, activations, and game days as needed. What You'll Bring A tertiary degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 2+ years of graphic design experience, ideally in a marketing or agency environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with a knack for adopting new technologies. Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects. A keen eye for detail, typography, and brand consistency. Experience with WordPress, AI tools like ChatGPT, and photography/videography is a plus!
