About The Role The role of Grants Officer is responsible for the financial administration of Central Coast Council's grant funds and processes for approved grant funded projects or works by external bodies.
This includes working with Council's various business units for monthly reporting (internal and external), maintaining and reconciling Council's grant register, submitting progress claims, final acquittals, and external audit processes.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Key Duties Review grant funding agreements to capture all relevant milestones and recipient obligations and ensure they are actioned in a timely manner.
Coordinate and complete reporting and progress claims and final acquittals to funding bodies in accordance with terms and conditions of funding agreements in partnership with business areas delivering grant funded projects.
This includes accessing external government portals for reporting purposes.
Maintain and reconcile Council's grant register, grant income, grant restricted assets and grant receivables on a monthly basis.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have Certificate IV qualification in Accounting, Project Management or Business Administration or related field or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development.
Other Important Information The salary range for this position sits between $72k - $86.3k plus 11.5% superannuation.
This is a Permanent full-time role.
This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role.
This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
