About your new Job
Due to sustained growth, an opportunity has become available for a Graduate Accountant to join the Australian finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Graduate Accountant will be offered the training and guidance to develop into a true finance business partner with the ability to add value.
This is an entry-level role that will train you to become capable of completing these skilled tasks:
Journal entries & accruals Reconcile bank Accounts Take ownership of the Fixed Asset register Prepare Reporting on KPIs for the Sales team Manage the stock movement reporting including reconciliation Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements Assist with yearly reporting pack for the parent company Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of the statutory Accounts (FBT, GST, Payroll Tax) About You!
As a graduate position, it is not expected that you have years of Accounting experience; however, experiences such as playing team sports or working a part-time job whilst studying will be viewed favorably. Having a 'Can do' attitude is key to your success, as well as these attributes:
Has identified a talent with numeracy & mathematics during High School Has a willingness to learn and an interest in business Is IT savvy which includes an ability to use MS Excel Is a team player who has the ability to build strong relationships with your peers We ask that all applicants be located in Sydney, and are either an Australian citizen or hold an Australian PR What's in it for you?
