About BAROC: Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC) is located within the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) and is operated by Austin Health.
Ballarat is a vibrant regional hub offering easy access to Melbourne, surf coast shire beaches, and the greater Grampians region.
Our facilities include:
2 x Varian Trilogy Linear accelerators, with online image guidance, 6DoF robotic couch, Respiratory Gating, DIBH, and VMAT treatment delivery.Capital replacement in progress, with Varian Truebeam Linacs accompanied by the Vision RT Surface guidance platform and Brainlab stereoscopic imaging scheduled for installation in 2025.Dedicated SABR treatment program.Electronic medical record (EMR) using ARIA 15 Oncology Information System.Integration with a range of affiliated services including Medical Oncology, Clinical Trials, and a Wellness centre offering a broad range of support programs to promote our patient's health in mind, body, and spirit.Remote SXRT service based in Stawell.Strong collaboration with our metropolitan site in Heidelberg.About the role: This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team environment and provide high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment to a growing service and region.
Your responsibilities will include:

Excellent salary remuneration package with base wage ranging between $69,206 (AE4) - $101,691 (ON16) per the Radiation Therapists Agreement 2022 + 10% regional allowance, 10.5% superannuation, and leave loading.Salary packaging options for up to $9,009.96 each financial year + an additional $2,649.98 for meals and entertainment.Sign-on bonuses available up to $10,000.Relocation support including furnished accommodation for up to 8 weeks.Eligible new graduates to commence at Grade 1.Year 2 accelerating the pathway to Grade 2.
