Governance And Performance Manager

This Government Agency is seeking a labour hire contractor at the EL1 level for a 12-week labour hire contract up until early February 2025, with the possibility of a short-term extension.
Your new role
In this role you will support the delivery of secretariat functions for the Board and whole-of-agency corporate governance services, including statutory planning and reporting, business planning and performance reporting, risk management, policy review and coordination. You will develop governance-related papers, reports and recommendations for the Executive and the Board as required. You will coordinate, draft and deliver statutory and corporate documents, including the Portfolio Budget Statement, the Corporate Plan and the Annual Report. The role will also entail leading and managing the Board Secretariat Coordinator.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience at the APS6 or EL1 level in Secretariat, administration and coordination roles, as well as governance. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and outstanding organisational skills.
