Why not see where we can go?Job DescriptionJoin us in strengthening and simplifying risk and governance across TAL's Group Life & Retirement (GL&R) teams. In this newly created role, you'll support the Manager of Governance & Reporting and Head of Governance & Risk by documenting, developing, and delivering operational frameworks that enhance our ways of working. You'll partner with GL&R and enterprise stakeholders to establish governance processes, conduct desk-top reviews, create reports, and improve operational efficiency. This role also coordinates end-to-end partner reviews, ensures compliance, and manages internal incidents, all to help drive excellence in our business processes.In this role you will:Document and catalog GL&R processes, RACIs, and frameworks to strengthen our operating model.Coordinate policy administration reviews, ensuring compliance with terms and tracking management actions.Support Partner assurance activities, including incident management and ongoing business reviews.Conduct QA reviews on complaints and Partner decisions, producing findings and action reports.Develop and facilitate Governance & Risk training, manage resources, and support senior leadership.QualificationsProven experience in superannuation and/or Group Insurance, with a solid understanding of industry dynamics.Proven ability to lead large projects, delivering complex business changes and process improvements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to identifying opportunities.Excellent interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills, with experience engaging across all organisational levels.Highly organised and detail-oriented, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint.You're always accountable for your actions. You never give up. You strive to find the best outcomes for customers and partners.
