GERRIC, run within the School of Education in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, is currently seeking casual teaching staff who would be eligible to teach the 'Mini Certificate of Gifted Education (Mini-COGE)'.
The Mini-COGE is a 16-hour professional learning workshop for teachers on the nature of giftedness, the characteristics of gifted students, the identification of gifted students, and how to differentiate curriculum to meet the needs of gifted students.
Eligible candidates will possess the following experience/interests: A flexible schedule to allow for 2-day delivery across NSW (and occasionally interstate) face to face and/or online as required.
Experience in a high school and/or primary school setting Understand and have experience with the NSW and Australian curriculum, and the differentiation of this curriculum to meet student needs.

Have demonstrated relevant teaching experience in Gifted Education.
Willing to undertake professional training to be able to deliver professional learning on behalf of UNSW School of Education.
Available to travel in NSW.
Preference will be given to applicants who are familiar with both the NSW and Australian curriculum.
Previous experience conducting professional learning is also desirable.
Availability to work during school terms.
