Geotechnical Business Development Engineer

The Company: Hone in on your Geo-technical Civil expertise and bring your ground engineering knowledge to projects across highways, airports, ports, and railway infrastructure.

The Role: Join the Melbourne team as a Geotechnical Business Development Engineer and be responsible for securing new business and implementing market strategies to promote the company's brand. Additionally, you will work closely with the Design team and develop conceptual tender designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage tender pipeline

Develop tender cost-studies and offer letters

Build and manage positive working relationships with clients

Negotiate and finalise opportunities by reviewing subcontract agreements, scopes of work, and pricing schedules for management approval.

Key Criteria:

Civil Engineering and/or Geotechnical Engineering (Master degree advantageous)

Minimum of 3 years experience

Site/operational experience ideal

Understanding of the market

Knowledge of Ground Improvement Techniques

Experience using PLAXIS, SLOPE-W ideal

Strong communication and attention to detail
