As we are located in national park, this is not a pet friendly park BUT there is the opportunity for a daily mingle with the free roaming Kangaroos.Job DescriptionReporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate a profitable and sustainable business, maximising a return on capital investment.You will consider yourself a confident and absolute 'all round' resort leader, asthisvaried rolewill see you, build and maintain successful relationships and a positive culture amongst the team to enhance guests and key stakeholders relationships. You will provide aversatile approach inleadership and supportand in all areas of park operations, from Food and Beverage and Events, to daily strategic and operational leadership.What You'll doOverseethe smooth running of park day to day operationsEnsurean amazing guest experience and continue to drive the customer journeyMaintainappropriate levels of employeesin all areas of Park operations and ensure the Resort is structured effectively in order to exceed guest serviceFocus on enhancing employee cultureand retentionOversee and ensure a seamless operation in the Food and Beverage and conference/events spaceOversee asset management focusing on the protection and preventive maintenance of key assets and buildingsManagefinancial budgets in respect to incremental revenue targets and labour and operating costs and monthly re-forecastsCapital works project managementEstablishing, monitoring and managing key business performance indicatorsMonitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employeesProven ability to manage and develop staff of all levelsWhat you'll bringPreviously managed or held an extensive senior role in a holiday park, resort, or similar tourism related role.A proven ability to methodically lift the rooms and Food and Beverage productProven experience in leading successful teams through building and maintaining a positive culturePrevious engagement with first nations communities and stakeholdersYou will have experienced working in an environment where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential.Previous oversightin managing properties with Food & Beverage or conference andeventswill be highly regarded.You will demonstrate a flexibleattitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest relations.You will possess excellentverbal and written communication skills and have proven evidence of successful financial and strategic management and ability.You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk and can communicate to and manage staff at all levels.What's in it for you?At Parks & Resorts we are not just about discounts (although you do get these too).
