More than 50% of Good Sammy's employees live with disability.Good Sammy is the largest social enterprise in Western Australia, currently operating 28 Op Shops across WA; a retail e-commerce business; 5 Containers for Change depots and a collection business; a property care enterprise; a hospitality enterprise; warehouse and logistics operations; a training Academy; as well as being a provider of NDIS employment support.Good Sammy is growing, with a Vision to transform workplaces and society through disability employment.This Role:Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the General Manager Learning and Organisational Development will play a crucial role in driving Good Sammy's mission to empower individuals with disabilities through inclusive employment and skill-building programs.This position is responsible for developing and executing a robust learning and organisational development strategy that builds the capability and capacity of the people at Good Sammy to successfully deliver on its mission.This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on leadership to establish Good Sammy Academy as a key training provider in the disability sector, both internally and externally.About You:Proven experience in learning and organisational development, with demonstrated success in a leadership role ideally within the disability services sector or a related field.Experience in strategy development and delivery, needs analysis, facilitation, instructional design, learning systems (LMS), leadership development, succession planning, talent management, culture and engagement.Strong commercial acumen and experience in developing sustainable business models and revenue-generating training programs.Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering training to diverse audiences.Superior relationship-building abilities, with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.A passion for the community service sector and making a difference to the lives of people with disability through employment.A completed qualification, or progression towards, in Human Resources and/or related discipline and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.This role offers a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to drive positive impact in the disability services sector by developing programs that empower individuals, foster inclusivity, and generate sustainable growth for Good Sammy.More Information:Lester Blades – Executive Search & Board Advisory, has been retained to assist with this executive recruitment process.
