Management (Information & Communication Technology)The General Manager of Information Technology is accountable for the strategic operational direction, to mentor and inspire teams and cross-functional collaboration that elevates our technology and our people.To be successful, you are a visionary with a deep understanding of technology trends, software development, and ICT infrastructure.You'll be a trusted leader, respected and valued for your ability to build rapport, encourage innovation, and deliver results.This is an office-based role on St Kilda Road with beautiful views overlooking Albert Park Lake.Your accountabilitiesDevelop and implement forward-looking IT strategies that align with business objectives.Spearhead digital transformation initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and identify solutions that drive efficiency, customer and employee satisfaction, and competitive advantage.Enable operations for automation, efficiencies, and optimisation in our UKG transformation.Oversee the development and maintenance of core IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and OT/IoT solutions, ensuring high availability and resilience across the organisation.Lead IT risk management, reporting, and compliance initiatives, embedding best practices and ensuring ISO regulatory alignment.Develop and measure key performance metrics across IT Operations, Engineering, and Information Security to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Full management and responsibility of budget and reporting.Provide regular performance updates ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.Inspire and mentor the IT team, cultivating a collaborative environment where talent flourishes.About youBachelor's / Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.Leader of large multifaceted business in transformation and growth agendas.Tenacity and driven individual always pushing the boundaries of transformation, improvement, and risk mitigation.10+ years in senior IT roles, preferably within cloud-first environments.Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital technologies.Preferred exposure to leading software development teams and deployment of OT and IoT environments.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine focus on team development, mentorship, and fostering a cohesive and positive culture.Ability to drive and support R&D, championing new technologies and solutions that enhance our market position and service quality.What we offerFree onsite buffet and chef-cooked breakfast provided every Monday and Friday.Exclusive TLC Employee Shopping Portal access and receive significant wholesale discounts on everyday items.Program of employee and wellbeing initiatives.Employee Assistance Program.Enrolment into our ongoing leadership development program.Discounted health insurance.Free gym membership.Novated leasing.Things that matter to usWorking with Children check.Proof of eligibility to work in Australia.We exercise a Head Office shutdown to refresh our employees from 20 December 2024 – 5 January 2025.To learn more about the benefits of joining Team TLC, please visit our website tlchealthcare.com.au.We are an organisation with a strong sense of purpose that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and embodies our core values of respect, accountability, excellence, collaboration, integrity, and innovation.Our culture is based on a supportive team environment where people thrive and achieve their best professionally.TLC Healthcare encourages all people of different backgrounds to apply.As part of our recruitment process, you may be required to complete a pre-employment psychometric and medical assessment.
