Sunshine Coast Yamaha has all manner of boating and related needs covered, from the casual family boater and ski-rider to the offshore fishermen and thrill seeker.We're looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team in Warana.To be considered for this role, you'll need a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least five years of relevant senior executive employment experience.Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Authorise the funding of newly acquired boats and equipment;Consult with staff, customers and suppliers on matters such as methods of operation, equipment requirements, finance, marketing, sales and human resources;Manage the Company and its business units, including importation, stock, sales distribution, repairs, the workshop, parts and finance;Plan policies, and the setting of standards and objectives for the business;Plan, organise, direct, control and review the daily operations and major functions of our commercial boating enterprise and its systems;Prepare reports, budgets and forecasts and present them to the business owners;Provide daily direction and management of the business to maximise profit, commercial viability and efficiency;Represent the business at official occasions, in negotiations, at conventions, seminars and liaising between areas of responsibility;Select and manage the performance of senior staff and report to the directors.An attractive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
