About our Client
Our client is is a family owned recycling company specialising in managing and recycling construction and demolition waste.
About the Role
The recycling process processes concrete, asphalt, bricks, ceramics, roof tiles, rocks, construction timbers in to high quality products for re-use on building sites, landscaping, draining and roads.
As a key member of a high performing team and reporting to the shift supervisor you will play an integral role in sorting the materials.? You will be required to stand at a conveyor belt and sort the materials as they come through the trommel screen. As the conveyor belt moves at a reasonable pace this role would not be suitable for those who suffer from motion or sea sickness. You must be able to commence on the 20th May (this may change). You must be able to start at 7am and work Monday to Friday. We are looking for reliable people who can work quickly with high work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sort building materials on the conveyor belt in to relevant sections
Be able to start at 7am sharp
Operate equipment safely
Follow company policies and procedures
Ability to differentiate different building materials
Current Drivers Licence
General labouring or cleaning experience or similar industries
Production oriented with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company
High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
Your key focus is safety with a high attention to detail to abide by site procedures
