Pro-invest Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Fund Accountant for a 12-month contract to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you'll support the ongoing growth of our organisation while ensuring the integrity of our financial records.
About Pro-invest Group Pro-invest Group is a global asset management and investment firm specialising in real estate, with an extensive track record of both delivering new-build hotels and repositioning existing hotels across Australia and New Zealand. As a leading hotel developer, we are a trusted partner to some of the world's most recognised hotel brands, currently including Holiday Inn Express, voco, Sebel, Hotel Indigo and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants.
Key Responsibilities: As our Fund Accountant, you will play a crucial role in: Managing the month-end close process, including amortization of prepayments and accounting for accruals. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with GAAP principles. Handling intercompany reconciliations and accounting for foreign currency transactions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on various accounting projects, including acquisitions and system implementations. Assisting in internal audits and facilitating the year-end audit process. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What We're Looking For: A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying anomalies in financial data. Strong understanding of accounting principles, with experience in fund accounting preferred. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external partners.
