Functions & Restaurant Duty Manager - Walkers Arms HotelThe award-winning Walkers Arms Hotel is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the full-time position of Functions & Restaurant Duty Manager. Having a passion for food and customer service – you must motivate front of house staff, whilst maintaining standards of exceptional service and hospitality.This hands-on role will include, but not be limited to, the following duties:Oversee daily operations across mainly, but not limited to, the Restaurant, Functions and EventsA hands-on role working with the client and their function/event on the day/nightFloor shifts and managing all aspects of serviceEnsure customer satisfaction, training and management of front of house staffAssist with the coordination of promotions, functions, hallmark days and special eventsWe are looking for someone who has/is:Minimum 2 years' experience in an F&B role is essentialEnergetic, motivated and passionate about food and customer serviceExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong leadership and communication skills, a "can-do" attitude and the ability to converse easily with customers is essentialWork over a 7-day roster, weekend work is essentialReporting to the Venue Manager your core focus will be to drive the food and beverage services, key events, functions, hallmark days and revenue.
