About the Role: We are seeking a Functional Specialist to join our Digital Customer Solutions team. In this critical role, you'll be the subject matter expert on customer-related functionalities, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and practical solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Your deep knowledge of end-to-end system functionalities, applications, and integrations will be essential in shaping Jemena's customer experience. As a Functional Specialist, you will support the business by helping improve and scale systems to meet evolving needs, keeping Jemena at the forefront of the energy industry. This is a 12 month fixed-term position with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for new initiatives, translating business requirements into feasible technical solutions.Lead business initiatives, delivering project expertise and conducting impact assessments on the customer portfolio.Contribute to governance framework implementation, road mapping, and project delivery.Collaborate with technical teams for accurate estimates and effective stakeholder management.Facilitate workshops to identify customer needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.Provide mentorship and support for business-as-usual (BAU) operations while driving ongoing project enhancements.Collaborate with the Customer and Commercial teams to streamline processes and maximize technology's value.Engage with communities of practice to implement innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience.Ensure data management, system support, and documentation are compliant with industry standards and best practices.Spearhead strategic efforts to optimize Jemena's customer portfolio and drive impactful, sustainable results.About You: Background in Computer Science or relevant experience in project management or business analysis.Analytical and strategic skills with a focus on process improvement and technology integration.Experience in leading cross-functional teams and resolving complex challenges.Proven ability to mentor, coach, and foster continuous learning within teams.Experience in the utilities sector, particularly with customer regulatory and compliance frameworks, is advantageous but not essential.Expertise in custom-built systems and CRM platforms is highly desirable.Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, capable of translating technical information for non-technical audiences.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing active projects and BAU enhancements to ensure successful outcomes.Why You Should Come and Work for Us: Our people are our energy source, and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
