Qualifications & experience
A current West Australian Electrical worker's license Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation A West Australian C-class drivers license A current Police clearance certificate Experience in a heavy industrial processing plant away FIFO/DIDO exposure Be able to pass a pre-employment medical screen Must live in the Perth metro area or willing to relocate The following are desirable but not essential :
Current First Aid/CPR/LVR Working at Heights Confined Spaces EWP LF EEHA LR Drivers License Tasks & responsibilities
Process instrument calibrations Valve positioners Exposure to all major instrument manufacturers. Weightometer calibrations - specialising in Siemens, Thermo Ramsey and Tecweigh. to achieve the highest accuracy Installation work - from a simple transmitter replacement, to a weightometer installation, a full instrument project upgrade, EEHA inspections or instrument tubing. Shutdown support - we focus on process instrumentation, with our full-time technicians providing hands on assistance with shutdown execution whilst also providing a point of contact for our casual workforce. Project work - Conception, design, installation, commissioning and after sales support. Client liaising - Concise direct communication with our clients and vendors. This includes finding solutions for their instrument problems, writing follow-up reports, writing proposals, quoting, and sending calibration certificates. Proprietary software - all of our technicians are trained in the use of the latest software by the leading instrument manufacturers You are provided with all of the necessary tools to complete tasks. Some weekend work is still required for client shutdowns, etc so if you do work through a weekend you can take that time off in lieu. Majority of the work is short-term jobs all over WA and occasionally interstate. You could be working in Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, and locally all within the same week. Exposure to a variety of resource processes, including, Gold, Nickel, Lithium, Iron Ore, Lead, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power Generation Enhance your existing instrumentation knowledge. Instrowest will develop you into a specialist in process instrumentation with ongoing training and support from our experienced team Work within a small dynamic team of exceptional peers.
