An early career role within Viva’s supply chain organization you will be ensuring demand forecasts are being met and making sure that variations are considered well in advance to ensure supply. You will be communicating with counterparties (suppliers or customers) ensuring supply of product whilst ensuring costs are controlled to budget levels or lower. You will gain an enhanced understanding of supply economics via collaboration with Viva supply chain professionals. You will also gain an enhanced understanding of the marine industry with part of the role ensuring all ships are approved by Viva Energy and relevant Third Party Marine Technical personnel for discharge of product at respective Terminals. You will be constantly challenged providing innovative solutions and proactively communicating with counterparties.
About you
You will be an analytical thinker with excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skills. Early career, you will have some experience within supply chain, logistics, economics or scheduling with a knowledge (or keen interest) of supply chain operations. You will have good verbal and written communication skills and be keen to gain experience within the oil industry and gain or build on transferable experience in supply chain operations. You will be curious by nature and innovative in your thinking whilst delivering our counterparties excellent service.The opportunity
