We are currently seeking a Fuel Truck Operator with a minimum of 1 years' experience.
Your responsibilities will include: Refuel, top up oil levels and supply grease to all machinery on designated project sitesRecord fuel usage daily on datafuel for all machinery that is refueled and oil used for top upReport any defects noted to you from the Plant Operators to the workshop, General Manager - Operations or Plant ManagerReturn all written defect reports to the workshop daily for actionObserve all regulations pertaining to the use of public roads and driving hoursComplete paperwork as required by company policies and proceduresCarry out all periodic services as directed by the General Manager - OperationsIf you have previous experience in a similar role and meet the following criteria we want to hear from you.
To be successful you must: Have a current HR unrestricted driver's licenceHave a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)Clean RMS certified driving recordHave fuel cart operator experienceKnowledge of plant machinery and the servicing requirements for periodic servicesAbility to operate the various pumps, etc. fitted to the Fuel TruckBe physically fit and healthy to be able to carry out the manual tasks associated with the positionKnowledge of civil construction principles and practicesKnowledge and understanding of health and safety practices and proceduresAbility to work autonomously and as a part of a teamExcellent communication skills both written & verbalEffective negotiation skillsA company vehicle will be provided to the right applicant.

A one-off bonus of $800 (gross) payable to the successful applicants upon successful completion of their probation period. This payment is not payable if your probation period is extended beyond the 3-month period.
