Due to the exciting addition of Year 12 at Melton in 2025, and the growth across several streams at both our Melton and Werribee campuses, we have several new teaching opportunities.
The Position: We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time .8FTE Secondary French Teacher to join our Christ-centred teaching community. The position is due to commence in January 2025 but could commence during term 4 2024 for the successful candidate.
The position is located at our Melton campus.
Additional teaching methods will be highly regarded.
The Person: Education and Experience The suitable candidate will be a skilled educator with a Bachelor of Education, VIT Registration (or provisional if a graduate), and knowledge of teaching French. Ability to lead, inspire, support, and encourage students through teaching from a Christian worldview. Capacity to select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students. Professional Attributes Actively contributes to Heathdale Christian College's team culture by displaying humility, a desire for excellence, a strong sense of self-awareness, and collaboration. Demonstrates a high level of communication, professional, and interpersonal skills when relating to teachers, students, parents, and colleagues. Participates in understanding the College's Christian philosophy of education and its practical outworking through the professional development of staff.
