to join our valued client based in Townsville.Jobs On Offer: Storeperson (Dispatch): Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the correct products and quantities are accurately received and recorded. Picking and assembling orders. Utilizing machinery and forklifts daily.
Successful Candidate must hold: Computer knowledge and use of Pronto - advantageous. Current forklift license with proven experience. Prior experience within a manual handling & warehouse role. Ability to work in a team environment and holds a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.
Production Operator: Key Responsibilities: Performing regular maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns. Keeping a close watch on the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. Running and monitoring machines used in various stages of steel production, such as furnaces, rolling mills, and casting machines. Inspecting raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies. Moving semi-finished and finished steel products within the facility using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.
Successful Candidate Must: Hold a current C Class Drivers License + Reliable Transport. Be physically fit - able to undertake manual handling. Prior experience with sheet metal folding. Hold a current forklift license with proven experience. Prior experience within warehouse roles. Ability to work in a team environment and hold a sound understanding of safety in the workplace. Computer knowledge - advantageous. Mechanically minded - advantageous.
