PURPOSETo lead and manage Corowa Golf Club's end-to-end food, beverage, and gaming operations, delivering warm, professional service and crafting memorable guest experiences.
This hands-on, (.8 – Permanent part time 30 hours a week role) is pivotal to shaping the future of hospitality at the Club through consistent leadership, innovation, and community engagement.
Corowa Golf Club is a much-loved local venue featuring a championship 18-hole golf course, vibrant bistro and café, sports bar, gaming lounge, function facilities, 34-room accommodation, and Proshop.
POSITION OBJECTIVESSERVICE EXCELLENCE – Deliver consistently high customer service standards across all food, beverage, and gaming areas.LEADERSHIP – Inspire and manage a diverse hospitality team through hands-on leadership, development, and mentorship.OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT – Oversee all aspects of operations, including rostering, stock management, compliance, safety and budgeting.GROWTH & ENGAGEMENT – Drive local engagement, function/event growth and promotional activities.EFFICIENCY & BALANCE – Maintain a hands-on approach (approx.
70% floor-based, 30% planning) to ensure effective, sustainable operations.TEAM CULTURE– Foster a workplace that values positivity, accountability, and collaboration.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOPERATIONS Provide strong, professional leadership across bistro, café, bar, and gaming service areas.
Lead by example in the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Manage day-to-day operations including rostering, training, ordering, stock control, and compliance.
Uphold responsible service of alcohol and gambling standards (RSA, RCG, ARCG).
Promote and support food safety, workplace safety, and industry regulations.
BUSINESS GROWTH & SUSTAINABILITY Manage budgets and labour costs and ensure accountability in financial performance.
Maintain high presentation standards across all service areas and gaming operations.
Champion events and functions, working with teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Support local engagement through well-executed promotions and community events.
