Applications are invited for the position of Fitter / Shift Fitter to join the MSF Sugar team on a Permanent Full-time basis.
These opportunities are located at our South Johnstone Mill - a short 15-minute drive from Innisfail.
Fitters are essential to repair and maintain any mechanical issues during factory operations.
You will conduct repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment; perform general and intermediate machining of new components; conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate; as well as follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
These positions are roster-based, covering the full week of operations.
You will be paid on a weekly basis, and we allow uncapped overtime.
The base hourly rate of a full-time Shift Fitter at South Johnstone Mill ranges from $36 to $47 per hour, with the average annual wage with overtime made by our Shift Fitters being over $130,000 p.a.
