About the role We are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to provide product support and technical services for our Fire Suppression products. The role requires installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems in the workshop and in the field.
Main responsibilities Adhere to all policies & procedures, especially EHS policies. Support technicians from other regions and assist in training. Perform fault diagnosis, maintain and install Fire Suppression systems. Work effectively in a team environment or autonomously. Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills. Identify opportunities for business growth and actively participate in sales activities. Assist with machine audits/inspections. Internal Sandvik product accredited certification will be provided. About you Relevant trade qualifications and experience are desirable. Knowledge of fire suppression systems, particularly for underground applications, is an advantage. Accreditation by the Fire Protection Association (FPA) is also desirable.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer relation skills and the ability to work flexibly with customer requirements and safety policies. A positive attitude and determination to achieve customer satisfaction targets are essential.
You must have a valid driver's license and basic computer literacy, including E-mail, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
